FAQ

1. How does reGRT resurface my paddle?

reGRT completes the same process that factory "raw carbon" fiber paddles go through.  With our custom automated machinery we are able to provide consistent results from paddle to paddle.

2. Will I get more spin than I am getting now with my paddle?

Your paddle with get similar spin to when it was brand new.  Every time you play the grit on the paddle face wears and the sharp edges of the grit becomes dull and you get less bite into the ball.

3. Will I get more power after getting my paddle resurfaced by reGRT?

No, the power of the paddle is not affected.  But being able to dip the ball faster will allow you to swing harder and still keep the ball in play.

4. Is getting the paddle surfaced by reGRT legal?

After the paddle is resurfaced it is no longer USAP or UPA-A approved.  We are going through testing procedures and looking towards becoming USAP approved.

5. Do I have a competitive edge after I get my paddle resurfaced by reGRT?

You would have the same competitive edge as someone that purchases a new paddle.

6.  Who should get their paddle resurfaced by reGRT?

Anyone looking to stay competitive without having to purchase a new paddle every two weeks.  If you are a tournament player and are playing/drilling multiple days a week, we recommend you purchase 2 paddles, one for your USAP/UPA-A sanctioned tournaments and your other paddle as your recreational play and drilling sessions.

7.  Will my paddle feel different after it is resurfaced by reGRT?

Besides being able to spin the ball as if it were a new paddle that paddle should feel the same.  Weight of the paddle could fluctuate up to 1 gram after the process but this weight is negligible as it is distributed throughout the whole paddle face.

8.  How many times can I have reGRT resurface my paddle?

This is something we are testing but have yet found a limit on the small sample size of testing.  We will continue documenting our testing paddles.
